Description: We want to do scale testing of PBS. In discussions with Ben Allen, we are thinking we will start with the it nodes. The PBS tests use docker containers for testing and will do things like start 1000 (we can control the number, but we want it to be large) “MOMs” per node to simulate scale. PBS requires root. They have designated a US citizen for this work. We need to test it, but we should be able to run this as a job under cobalt, spin the entire infrastructure up, run the tests and tear it down.
